Product Overview
Iron-Silicon Powder Cores are high-performance magnetic components manufactured by pressing insulated iron-silicon alloy powder, creating a uniform distributed air gap structure throughout the core. Their typical operating frequency ranges from 50 kHz to 500 kHz, with select grades reaching up to 1 MHz.
Primarily toroidal in shape, these cores are wound directly with enameled or stranded wire and can be assembled with plastic bases for convenient PCB mounting. Functionally, they are designed for power conversion and energy storage, excelling in applications with high DC bias such as PFC inductors, output filter chokes, differential-mode inductors, and buck/boost inductors.
Magnetic properties feature an initial permeability of 26μ to 90μ and a high saturation flux density of approximately 1.5 T, delivering excellent DC bias capability and low core loss at high frequency.
